Part–Time Employee Benefits

Retirement

CSD offers a 403(b) retirement plan to all qualified employees. After one year of employment and 1000 hours worked, CSD may match 100% of your contribution up to 4% of your salary. Employer contributions become 100% vested after three years of employment with 1000 hours worked each year.

Paid Time Off (PTO)

CSD provides paid time off for eligible employees for the purpose of rest, relaxation, illness, holidays, personal and family needs. The PTO program puts vacation, sick leave, a part of bereavement leave into one program. This gives employees more flexibility in scheduling time off to meet individual needs.

Holidays

CSD offers designated paid holidays throughout the year.

Employee Assistance Program

The Employee Assistance Program is an independent and confidential counseling program for employees and members of their household. This service provides assistance for a variety of family and personal issues that affect employees on a daily basis and is free of charge to the employee.

Supplemental Benefits

Employees are eligible for Supplemental Benefits offered through AFLAC on the first of the month following 30 days of employment. AFLAC offers Cancer Protector Plan and Personal Accident Indemnity Plan to part–time employees. These benefits are "portable" which means you may continue the policy regardless of a job change by continuing to pay your premiums.
